StoicLead provides AI-powered leadership coaching, not therapy or mental health treatment. Use of this service does not create a therapist-client, medical, or professional advisory relationship.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StoicLead ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StoicLead.

2. Nature of the Service

StoicLead is an AI-powered leadership coaching platform. The coaching insights, assessments, and content provided through StoicLead are:

  • Advisory and developmental in nature only. They are not a substitute for professional therapy, mental health treatment, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or any other licensed professional service.
  • Generated by artificial intelligence based on information you provide. They are not produced by licensed therapists, psychologists, doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors.
  • Informed by established coaching methodologies and frameworks, but are not certified products of any professional body or association.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

StoicLead makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes from using the Service. Leadership development, personal growth, and professional advancement depend on many factors outside StoicLead's control, including your own effort, application, and circumstances. Any outcomes described are illustrative and not guaranteed.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all decisions you make based on coaching insights or recommendations from StoicLead. You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Provide accurate information when using the Service
  • Not rely on StoicLead as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice
  • Consult qualified professionals for decisions with legal, financial, medical, or psychological implications
  • Take full responsibility for actions taken based on StoicLead's coaching output

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StoicLead and its affiliates, operators, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Damages arising from your reliance on coaching output or recommendations
  • Any harm to your career, relationships, health, finances, or wellbeing resulting from use of the Service
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or errors

StoicLead's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to StoicLead in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, content, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of StoicLead. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Coaching insights generated for you are provided for your personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercialize StoicLead's output.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully, as it describes how we collect, use, and protect sensitive personal information including leadership assessments and coaching conversations.

8. Modifications to Terms

StoicLead reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

9. Termination

StoicLead reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at its sole discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StoicLead operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
